The Team
Manufacturing Engineer
My name is Arnav Kheterpal. I am an aspiring web developer, who loves physics and maths, along with computer science. I have created this website, and I have advised our Graphics Designer for the logo, and the banner since I also have experience in that field. I am also in charge of rendering the car, accurate up to 95% to our final design, which I am also in charge of painting and manufacturing.
Project Manager
I am Jacob, the project manager, and I am passionate about ensuring that us as a team, can showcase our talent and hard work through STEM Racing. Studying maths and physics has led me to develop a keen interest in design engineering which, as well as my love for F1, means I am dedicated to organise and manage our team.
Marketing Manager
My name is Aarav Bamane. I am the Marketing Manager for Phoenix Drive, passionate about combining creativity with strategy to showcase our team’s innovation. Studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Economics, I use my analytical and communication skills to design impactful campaigns and drive Phoenix Drive forward on and off the track.
Graphic Designer
I am Luqmaan Rasool. Going forward I am keen in wanting to be a lawyer, I have always been fond of Formula 1 and joint Phoenix Drive to not only use it for future educational benefits but also to do it as I am very passionate about F1. I am the Graphic Designer of our team and have created the logo, banners, kit design, colour scheme etc. I have past experience in this role as I do art and design things as a hobby and wanted to show my talent in this field.
Engineer
My name is Joseph Ellingham and I have grown up with a love for cars. It got me interested in engineering, so much so I've targeted my academic courses to fit into career opportunities concerning motor/motorsport engineering. Since 2021, I've been fully engaged in F1, making sure to watch every race possible. I, along with my peers on Phoenix Drive pioneer our designs on a digital software for our F1 car, which will be raced at an event in the upcoming months.
Engineer
I am Anton Samchuk, the design engineer for Phoenix Drive. My passion for engineering stems from a fascination to understand how vehicles are made. I aim to employ creativity and innovation together with my peers to design our STEM Racing cars making use of advanced CAD and simulation software.
Finance Manager
My name is Shajina. I am the Finance Manager for Phoenix Drive, and I am in charge of managing our budget and making sure our financial decisions are both efficient and strategic. I have put together an Excel spreadsheet using last year’s financial records, which helped me spot spending trends and find ways we could improve. Studying A-level Economics and Maths has really helped me understand how to handle finances, analyse data, and solve problems, all of which have been extremely useful in this role.
